Glory to God should be given at all times. In order to give glory to God, you need to know what it means to give glory to God. Giving glory to God means acknowledging God in all His fullness. This includes, praising God, worshipping God, giving Him thanks in faith and above all just knowing that He is God and He is above all things and reigns over all. More to that, giving glory to God also means acknowledging God’s love in your life and sovereignty. Below, we will discuss six reasons why you should give glory to God always

6 Reasons Why You Should Give Glory to God Always

1- Give Glory to God Because He Is Your Creator

We should give glory to God all the time because He is our creator. In the book of Genesis 1, it is written that God created man on the sixth day. He created man in his own image (Genesis 1:27). We are the very product of God who is our maker. Giving glory to God all the time or saying glory be to God always is a sign of acknowledging our creator and giving reference to God. This is showing to God that you are grateful for life, and happy that He is your father and creator. This, extends life and brings good things towards your way because you honour God, the giver of life by giving glory to Him (GOD) all the time.

2- Give Glory to God Because He Is Your Provider

In the old testament, God is referred to as Jehovah Jireh meaning ʺThe Lord Will provider”. The bible says in the book of Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. This means that God is your supplier. Everything you owned, have been supplied to you by God. Moreover, as your relationship with God increases, the revelation which you have with God also increases, and the same goes for your supply from God. This why you need to give glory to God always as your provider as in all other things. When you continuously give glory to God as your supplier, you will find how your daily, monthly, and yearly supply will increase.

3 – Give Glory to God Because God Is Your Protector

As humans, we need spiritual protection all the time from our creator. That is why we need to give glory to God all the time because God is our daily protector. God protects us every day, and at times, some are not conscious of this protection at all because they rely on physical protection which is limited in sight and in vision. As a child of God, you need to be conscious of God’s protection at all times because this consciousness leads to the manifestation of God’s protection by faith your life. Giving God the glory at all times for protection is the best way of being conscious of His protection, and bringing it to manifestation in your life. Give God all the glory all times, even when you feel insecure (with your emotions and the things surrounding you), you should say glory to the lord. Another reason why you should give God all the glory for protection is Because Hebrews 12: 22 says we are come to mount Zion, the city of the living God, …. innumerable company of Angels. Give God all the  glory because you are surrounded or live in the company of countless number of Angels.

4- Give Glory to God Because God Is Your Healer

The old testament of the bible refers to God as Jehovah Rapha- The God who heals. Giving glory to God should be a life style, and it helps to manifest the healing power of God in your life especially when you are sick. It works for me and it has worked for several people. Giving glory to God for healing is an act of faith. First Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:5 says by the stripes of Jesus Christ you have been healed. Healing is something that has been done already for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ. If you believe (in the above healing scriptures) you have been healed, then, all  you need is  just to claim your healing by faith. The best way to claim your healing is by giving glory to God in the highest through words of thanks giving.

5 – Give Glory to God Because God Is Your Shelter and Strength

Every day of our life, we need to give glory to God because He is our shelter and strength in every situation. The Good News translation of Psalm 46:1-6 says God is our shelter and strength, we should not be Afraid, even when there is violence, God will bring joy, and because God is in that city it will not be destroyed and more. Reading the whole verse will help you understand the benefit of seeing God as our shelter and strength. Giving glory to God with an acknowledgment that He is our shelter and protector makes it easier for us to experience God daily as our shelter and strengthened in every situation. Be conscious and have faith in God for He is our strength and shelter, and will always manifestHimself . This is automatic for those who walk in these truths.

6- Give Glory to God Because He Is Our Comforter, “Helper” And “Counsellor”

In addition to give glory to God because He is our shelter and strength, it is important to also give glory to God because He is our Comforter. In the book of John 16:7, Jesus said He will send us a comforter, and verse 13 says, this comforter, ʺwhen He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to comeʺ. The Holy spirit has come and He is your comforter, helper and counsellor. Because of the role of the Holy Spirit in the world and in our lives, we need to give glory to God because it enables us to be connected with the works of the Holy spirit and walking in its consciousness. If this becomes a life style, you will find yourself being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as He shows you things to come and speak to you in a unique way. This will enable you to hear God’s voice through the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Giving God the glory  should be our daily life style. When you give glory to God, you empower the power of God in your life. and bringing it to manifestation because you acknowledge Him by giving Him all the glory always. Give glory to God because He is your creator, provider, protector, Healer, shelter and strength, comforter, Helper and Counsellor, and these, which God is to you, will become real in your life and it will manifest in your life continuously. Remember that giving gory to God should be done in faith in all circumstances because God is faithful and will always heal, deliver, protect, provide, lead, prosper, and bring joy to all those who put their trust in Him. Above all, God is a God who honours his word more than His name, and for this reason, glory to God should be given at all times.
